Welcome to Zpordle Wordle, a captivating math-based word puzzle game derived from the beloved Wordle with a unique mathematical twist. Prepare to put your mathematical prowess to the test as you take on the challenge of guessing a random integer between 0 and 1000. Utilizing prime numbers and p-adic distances, players must deduce the target number within 10 attempts, combining the joy of word puzzles with the thrill of mathematical deduction.
The primary goal of Zpordle is to correctly predict the randomly generated integer within 10 tries. Players receive feedback based on the p-adic distance between their guess and the goal number, and each guess is connected to a particular prime number.
- Random Integer: The game randomly chooses an integer as the target each day between 0 and 1000.
- Players make educated estimates using prime numbers in ascending order. For instance, the first guess may be connected to the prime number 2, the second to the prime number 3, the third to the prime number 5, and so on.
- For each prime number used as a guess, the game determines the p-adic distance between the player's guess and the target number. When x = npk and n is not divisible by p, the p-adic norm of an integer x with regard to a prime p is defined as p-k. The p-adic norm of the difference between two integers is the p-adic distance between them.
- Feedback: Based on the p-adic distance of the player's guess, the game gives them feedback. Players can use this knowledge to reduce their prospective target number.
Players must use their grasp of p-adic distances and their knowledge of prime numbers to make accurate estimates and determine the goal number within the allotted 10 attempts.
