About Basketball Grid
The Basketball Grid game is an intriguing puzzle game designed to test players' knowledge of basketball players based on specific criteria and statistics. It takes place on a grid, where each box represents a basketball player. The ultimate objective is to correctly identify basketball players that match particular criteria, including their team, season stats, career stats, and career awards.
How to play
- Total Guesses: Players are granted a total of 9 guesses to correctly identify the basketball players on the grid. Careful decision-making is vital to maximizing the chances of identifying all players accurately.
- Player Selection: Once you correctly identify a basketball player, they are no longer available for further guessing in the puzzle. This adds an element of strategy, as you must thoughtfully choose your guesses to progress effectively.
- Season Stats and Awards: The players' season statistics and awards must be from a season in which they played for the specified team. This ensures that their performance and achievements align with the particular team in question.
- Career Stats and Awards: Career stats encompass only the statistics compiled by the player while playing for the specified team. Similarly, career awards, such as Hall of Fame induction, include players who have participated in at least one game for the team.
- Minimum Games Played: To qualify for the stats fields, players must have participated in a minimum of 50 games. This criterion ensures that only players with a substantial contribution to the team are considered for the game.
- Puzzle Completion: After completing the puzzle and making all guesses, players can hover over or click on each box to view the most recent players that meet the given criteria. This additional information provides context and insight into the player selections.
