How to play

  • Yeardle's main goal is to pinpoint the precise year in which three specific historical occurrences took place.
  • Three Random Events: Three random events from various historical eras are provided to the players. These occurrences provide information on the year in question.
  • Players can use a keyboard to enter their answers, and they can choose to place the minus sign (-) before the year to denote BC (Before Christ) or E (Anno Domini).
  • The three historical events can be accurately dated with a maximum of eight attempts.

More than 200 years off-the-mark predictions are displayed in gray, while predictions that are wrong by between 40 and 200 years are displayed in brown.
