This game puts your movie knowledge to the test by requiring you to guess the movie based on a pixelated movie poster. Similar to the music guessing game Heardle, Posterdle provides you with a pixelated movie poster and gives you 20 seconds to figure out which movie it represents. The challenge lies in deciphering the poster as it gradually becomes clearer during the gameplay.
How to play
- Players in Posterdle are shown a movie poster that has been severely pixelated. When the "Start" button is clicked, the poster starts to elaborate, giving more information and making it simpler to recognize the movie. The movie's title must be correctly identified within 20 seconds using the partially exposed poster as a guide.
- You have the option to keep playing if you make a mistake and are unable to identify the movie within the allotted time. The game will then spend additional seconds enhancing the poster's resolution so that it is clearer on subsequent attempts.
