About Lingle

Lingle is a word-association test used to gauge a person's capacity for associative thought. The game is simple and entertaining despite sounding complicated. Players in Lingle alternately guess as many words as they can in a minute. There is a catch, though: the hints are only valid as other words that begin with the same letter as the concealed word. Players are tasked with using a clue word to locate terms that are connected in this word-guessing game.

How to play

In the game Lingle, players must think of as many related words as they can after receiving a suggested word. The important thing to remember is that every response must begin with the same letter as the clue word. For instance, if the hint word is "frog," then acceptable answers can include "pond," "green," "water," and "slippery," all of which have some connection to frogs.

The game's rules are straightforward: each player is given a hint and four possible answers. The objective is to identify the one word that somehow connects each of the selections. When the player has identified the connecting factor, they circle that response and go on to the following clue.

If a player runs into trouble, they might attempt turning the answers around or trading answers with another player. Rereading the hints might occasionally inspire fresh insights and aid in identifying the proper connection between the words.
