Dangle is a daily guessing game designed around NHL players, inspired by Wordle. Each day, players have the opportunity to guess the identity of a current NHL player. The game provides various clues about the player, such as their team, position, conference, division, age, jersey number, and more.
How to play
- The mystery player for Dangle is a different NHL player every day. Players must use the offered hints to try to determine who this individual is.
- Players are given a total of eight tries to identify the correct NHL player. The game will offer new hints after each guess to help limit the options.
- Information about the player's team, position, conference, division, age, jersey number, and other details are among the hints given.
- Age and Number Columns: If a player's age is within two years of the mystery player's age, it is indicated with a yellow box in the age column. The player's jersey number is also within five numbers of the mystery player's jersey number, according to the number column with a yellow box.
- Team History: The yellow cells in the hints denote that the player has participated in at least one game for the team over the course of their career.
- No Color Indication: If there is no color in a specific clue, it signifies that the mystery player and the information presented do not have any similarities or matches.
- Silhouette Feature: Like Poeltl, Dangle provides a silhouette feature to help players who get trapped and need assistance.
- Check Back Frequently: Players can come back every day to try their luck against a fresh mystery opponent.
